Astaxanthin Oil is produced by supercritical CO₂ extraction or solvent extraction of astaxanthin from Haematococcus pluvialis microalgae.
This yields a concentrated oleoresin typically standardised to 5-20% astaxanthin in a carrier oil (often olive oil, MCT or sunflower oil). The oil-soluble format offers superior bioavailability (astaxanthin is lipophilic) and is ideal for softgel capsules, functional oil blends and fat-based food products.
