Oil Soluble Chlorophyll is the native lipophilic form of chlorophyll extracted from green plant matter using organic solvents.
It retains the phytol tail that confers oil solubility. Unlike water-soluble chlorophyllin derivatives, this form is designed for fat-based applications: edible oils, margarine, lipstick, candles and fat-containing food products where water-soluble colours would not disperse properly.
