Beetroot Red is extracted from red beets and contains betanin (betacyanin) as the primary pigment. It provides bright red to violet shades at pH 3-7 and is one of the most popular natural red colourants for clean-label applications.
Available as juice concentrate, powder or liquid extract. Heat-sensitive but stable in low-pH, short-shelf-life products.
