Food-Grade Calcium Carbonate (CaCO₃) is produced from high-purity limestone or precipitated synthetically (PCC).
It serves multiple functions in food: acidity regulator (antacid), calcium fortification source (40% elemental calcium), anti-caking agent, colour (white opacifier, E170), and processing aid. Widely used in flour fortification, dairy, confectionery, supplements and beverages.
