Gluconic Acid Solution is produced by aerobic fermentation of glucose using Aspergillus niger, followed by filtration and concentration to 50% w/w.
The clear, pale-yellow liquid is mildly acidic (pH 1.8–2.2), has a clean sour taste, and exhibits strong chelation of calcium, iron and other metals. This makes it ideal for descaling, rust removal and concrete admixtures.
