Magnesium Lactate (Mg(C₃H₅O₃)₂) is a water-soluble organic magnesium salt with high bioavailability, commonly used for magnesium fortification in beverages, dietary supplements and functional foods. It has a mild taste profile with less bitterness than magnesium oxide or chloride.
This makes it suitable for flavour-sensitive applications. Also used as an acidity regulator and dough conditioner.
