Potassium Diformate (KH(HCOO)₂) is a unique double salt of potassium formate and formic acid. It was the first non-antibiotic growth promoter approved in the EU (E number 237a for feed).
KDF lowers gut pH, inhibits pathogenic bacteria (E. Coli, Salmonella), improves nutrient digestibility and promotes growth in swine, poultry and aquaculture. Also used as a silage preservative and feed hygiene agent.
