Vitamin K2 (MK-7) is produced by Bacillus subtilis var. Natto fermentation or chemical synthesis.
This yields all-trans menaquinone-7 isoform with longest biological half-life (~72h). As a cofactor for γ-carboxylation, it activates osteocalcin (directing calcium to bones) and matrix Gla protein (preventing arterial calcification), clinically validated for bone density, cardiovascular health and calcium-utilisation optimisation.
