Konjac Micro Flour is produced through advanced multi-stage milling, air classification, and purification of konjac tuber chips. This yields an ultra-fine powder (typically 120–200 mesh or finer) with glucomannan content exceeding 80%. The micro-particle size ensures near-instantaneous hydration without lumping. This produces exceptionally smooth and high-viscosity solutions.
At equivalent concentrations, micro flour develops substantially higher viscosity than standard or fine grades due to its superior purity and surface area. It is the grade of choice for pharmaceutical-grade applications, precision food processing, and applications where minimal addition levels are desired. Konjac Micro Flour meets premium-grade specifications under GB/T 18104 and is classified as E425 in the EU. Its extremely high water-absorption capacity (up to 100x its weight) makes it a highly efficient thickener.
