High Fructose Corn Syrup is one of the most widely used caloric sweeteners in the global food industry. It offers sweetness comparable to sucrose in liquid form. It is produced through a multi-step enzymatic process that converts corn starch to glucose and then partially isomerizes it to fructose.

HFCS-42 (42% fructose) is commonly used in processed foods, baked goods, and condiments, while HFCS-55 (55% fructose) is the standard sweetener for carbonated soft drinks. Both grades offer excellent blending properties, fermentability, and shelf-life stability.

Description High Fructose Syrup is processed from hydrolyzed corn starch and contains fructose a simple sugar carbohydrate, just like sucrose. It is about 75% sweeter than sucrose, less expensive than sugar, and mixed well in many foods. The content of fructose is more than 42% of total carbohydrates.
