Phosphatidylcholine is a glycerophospholipid composed of choline, phosphate, glycerol and two fatty acids.
It is the major constituent of cell membranes and is commercially isolated from soybean or sunflower lecithin via solvent fractionation and purification to yield PC-enriched products (20%, 50%, 70%, 90%+ grades). Used widely in nutraceuticals (liver, brain, cholesterol) and liposomal pharmaceutical delivery.
