This product is a mixture of laurate, partial esters of sorbitol, and sorbitol anhydrides condensed with20 moles of ethylene oxide. It is commonly used as a wetting agent in flavored mouth drops to spread the feeling of other ingredients such as mint flavor, but it can also be used in food as a flavoring ingredient.
